The program is mostly observation, not allowed to manage cases independently, no hands-on for lasers or surgery.

You are posted with a diff consultant each month 

You shadow them in OPD and OT.

You learn basics of managing glaucoma suspects and diagnosed cases, you get to do OPD procedures like GAT, gonio (depending on consultant).. you are also trained to read diagnostics like perimetry and OCT.

Is better suited for those who are proficient in seeing optic disc undilated and have some idea of estimating CDR.

Work timings 9-7 pm

No duties or calls

Sundays free

Can attend classes conducted by the Institute. 

You will be knowledgeable in diagnosis and medical management of glaucoma cases by end of 3 months
